Steven D. Bearak, CEO

Steven D. Bearak is Chief Executive Officer of Identity Force and its parent company Bearak Reports, Inc. Bearak Reports was co-founded by Steve in 1992 and is the leader in background screening, and asset search services to banks, law firms, government agencies, and general corporate users.

Steve launched Identity Force in response to client requests to help manage and reduce the adverse financial and reputational impact of identity theft on an organization, its employees and business partners. Today Identity Force is the number one provider of identity theft protection and credit monitoring services to the Federal Government and their identity protection, compliance and data breach solutions have the exclusive endorsement of the American Hospital Association.

Steve is responsible for strategic planning, government relations and business development and directed the company’s move into new markets through their Healthcare, Higher Education, and Enterprise and Consumer Solutions groups. Identity Force also recently introduced the first managed service and web hosted Identity Compliance Program that allows subscribers to quickly, and easily comply with current and future Federal Identity Theft Regulations, and State Data Privacy and Breach Notification Laws.

Steve received his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School, Boston, MA and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA. Steve served on an identity theft panel for the National Information Security Group and has been interviewed and quoted on identity theft by various television stations and publications.
